Two Spaces, One Show, No Room for Error
UMB needed audio, video, lighting, staging, and programming to operate as one cohesive production. With the program taking place in front of the organization’s leadership team, flawless execution was paramount — every system, crew member, and production discipline needed to remain coordinated from the first presentation through the event’s closing performance.
The size of the production created significant staffing and coordination demands. Monarch also faced limited venue access, an ambitious technical scope, and areas of the event vision that still needed to be translated into actionable production plans. With multiple divisions working across two spaces, small communication gaps could quickly become show-day problems — Monarch’s responsibility extended beyond supplying equipment, to identifying those gaps, developing solutions, and bringing the complete production vision to life.

Prepared Long Before Load-In
Preparation began well before arriving at the venue — and it showed on show day.
3D Renderings & Preproduction
Monarch created extensive 3D renderings to visualize the spaces, align stakeholders, and guide the technical build before a single truck arrived.
Warehouse Pre-Build & Testing
Key portions of the system were assembled and tested inside Monarch's warehouse, so the technical show was programmed and refined before load-in began.
A 28-Person Production Crew
One coordinated crew managed audio, lighting, video, staging, and live entertainment across both event spaces, keeping every division in sync.
Full-Scale Technical Build
More than 600 LED video panels, a multi-screen 4K presentation system, six Blackmagic Design cameras, 60+ moving lights, and a custom three-tier stage — all running as one unified production.
